Supplication for Nullifying Magic and Sorcery
Explanation: This supplication, narrated from the Infallibles (a.s.), is one of the most reliable and tested means to eliminate the negative effects of magic and black magic.
Instructions: Reciting this supplication with a pure intention and ablution (wudu), writing it on clean (unlined) paper with saffron or pure ink to carry with oneself, or reciting it over clean water to drink is highly recommended for nullifying magic.
Arabic Text:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَمَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ، فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ، فَغُلِبُوا هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُوا صَاغِرِينَ
Transliteration:
"Bismillah wa billah, Bismillah wa ma sha' Allah, Bismillah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. Qala Musa ma ji'tum bihis-sihr, innallaha sayubtiluh, innallaha la yuslihu 'amalal-mufsidin. Fawaga'al-haqqu wa batala ma kanu ya'malun, faghulibu hunalika wanqalabu saghirin."
Translation:
"In the name of Allah and by Allah! In the name of Allah, and whatever Allah wills (occurs)! In the name of Allah, and there is no power nor strength except with Allah. Moses said, 'What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.' So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing. And they were defeated there and returned disgraced."
